Andrea was born and raised in Colombia, Andrea has a strong connection with her Latin American roots, however, at the age of 17, she moved to England, where she studied the English language and it was also the place where she started to develop her passion for fashion. As a “citizen of the world”, as she considers herself, she moved to Brazil where she graduated with a Master in International Business. At the age of 22, she went back to Colombia, and with all her educational knowledge and strong passion for fashion she had to develop in the past years, she founded the fashion brand SETA, along with her sister, Eliana. At 25, Andrea moved to Miami in order to keep growing her business. Her strong desire for constant education also led her to do Fashion Courses in Pattern Making and Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Miami and Fashion Business in Milan, Italy.
She designs for the woman of today; the woman who is powerful, embraces her femininity and is aware of her masculinity, the woman who wants to stand out and mark her presence with grace. Her specialty is creating pieces inspired by the power that a woman has inside, making Salazar one of the most unique and versatile designers in Latin America.
